As promised, here are some pictures of the new bird. I call him the new bird because we have not settled on a name for him yet. He is male and he is banded and at five years old he has never had a name. He has no vocabulary that we’ve heard yet, but he can bark like a dog. He likes high places and I will try to get some pictures of him on the swinging perch we built last night. He was a little traumatized yesterday and I didn’t want to make it worse by taking pictures with the flash on and it was too dark to get a good picture without it. These are the pictures they took yesterday when picking him up!
