It has been a tumultuous year for us personally and plans changed. The rescue was put on hold the day we both became unemployed at the same time. We now have new jobs where our babies are welcome and Sammy is thriving!!! Check out his new look 
He has proven to be so very resilient and trust me when I say he is VERY loved :) His tail feathers are so long now that I had a hard time getting them all into my camera screen!
Thank you once again to all of you who helped bring him home to us so we could love him and he could heal in his forever home!!!
